Lied en Aboo: februari 2013

I got married on the 11th of january to David Nwadilim. I like him a lot and it was a beautiful day.

On sunday the 13th I went back with him to Germany (that is where he is from) to live there with him in the city of Neumünster in Northern Germany.

David and I met each other in Heidelberg,Germany in june 2011. At the time he had quite the little afro going on (he has African genes) and i spotted him right away. We started talking after about 2 days and from there it went. We visited each other back and forth for about a year and then he proposed to me on the 22nd of july 2012. It was more romantic that I thought something could be...also i am not the most romantic person in the world. He had written me a song and sang it to me in a forest with some cows in the background...i really like cows...i would like one. Anyway....when he proposed i could not really stop laughing it was just so unreal. But ALAS.....real it was. And six months later we said our yesses to one another. The weddingcake was great and there were only lovely people there that day. When i think of everyone it brings a smile to my face...also because sometimes i get a little homesick and i get even happier thinking of people back home.

But all is good here and everybody is very nice. Germany is absolutly different than the Netherlands....not better or worse...just different.....and bureaucratic....at least in my opinion....i mean: how much paperwork does a person have to fill in to get something done?!

Also so many bakeries here.....which would be good if i had a faster metabolism. All the pastries and breads are soooooo tasty. And trust me i know i am married to a guy who thinks it is normal to stop at every bakery and eat 18 ferrero's in one day. The guy likes his sweets.

Now all that has to happen is for SPRING to make it's entrance...
